| I was in the Bel-aire Hotel around Nov 2011 with my nephew Sibusiso. Really we had a great time n our rooms were so amazing really the 5star indeed.I will make sure even next time that I reserve with them. The breakfast were the best1 you choose what u want n everything was available. Thanks to the staff in the reception keep up your services n smile. | The service and general atmosphere of the Belaire was lovely, we felt very welcome on our arrival. We would like to thank Bradley from the breakfast service, he was always very happy to help, patient with our orders and extremely well presented. Emmanuelle on reception was equally attentive and willing to help with all our needs. At breakfast Fundi was also very adept at finding us vegetarian alternatives, in a kind and thoughtful manor. | We stayed at the hotel for a weekend break in November 2011. Pictures can say a thousand words, but are usually wrong when it is seen on a hotel's website. For this hotel, what you see is what you get and more! It was clean and neat and very comfortable! They arranged a camping cot for my baby and even got him a baby pillow to sleep on, which obviously impressed mommy a lot ;) The first day we arrived, our aircon was broken though. But to our surprise, two manager came to fix it while wearing a shirt and tie as the maintenance team already left.... I have to be honest though, when making the booking, the only person at the hotel that was actually friendly and willing to help was Janine (thank you once again Janine, you're awesome). | The Belaire Hotel is probably one of the best properties I have ever visited. From the moment I walked into the hotel, the staff was not only professional, but extremely friendly and very helpful in my regular inquires. The breakfast was top tier everyday with a staff always on point for any needs. The housekeepers were exceptionally friendly and always did a great job up-keeping the room. The Cafe Jiran Restaurant staff were always professional and the food was great. Overall, the property is fantastic. Close to many of the activities taking place, on the beach front and the views of the Indian Ocean is as majestic as any peaks. Viewing the sunrise everyday was also special. I don't usually return back to the same property, but when i will return to Durban, the Belaire Suites & Hotels will be the place I will go.
